Pi Times Diameter

Introduction to pi times diameter:

A circle is a 2-D image. The two dimensions of the circle are radius and diameter. Diameter of the circle is the length between two points on a circle which should be supposed to passes through the center of a circle. Radius is equal to the half of the diameter and it is a length between a center of a circle and to any point on the circle. The diameter can be identified for any type of circular geometric shape. I like to share this Pyramid Volume with you all through my article.

Example Problems – Pi Times Diameter:

Example problems – How to figure circumference of a circle.

Example 1 – Pi times diameter:

How to figure the circumference of a circle whose diameter is 5cm.

Solution:

Given that the diameter of the circle is 5cm.

The formula to find out the circumference of a circle is pi times diameter

Now substitute the value of diameter in the formula

= pi times diameter

=3.14 `*` 5

=15.7cm

Understanding Mod Calculator is always challenging for me but thanks to all math help websites to help me out.

Example 2 – Pi times diameter:

How to figure the circumference of a circle whose radius is 14cm.

Solution:

Given that the radius of the circle is 14cm.

The formula to find out the circumference of a circle is pi times diameter

Now substitute the value of r in the formula

= pi times diameter

= pi `*` 2 `*` r

=`2*3.14*14`

=87.92cm

Example 3 – Pi times diameter:

How to figure the circumference of a circle whose radius is 19cm.

Solution:

Given that the radius of the circle is 19cm.

The formula to find out the circumference of a circle is pi times diameter

Now substitute the value of r in the formula

= pi times diameter

= pi `*` 2 `*` radius

=`2*3.14*19`

=119.32cm

Example 4 – Pi times diameter:

How to figure the circumference of a circle whose diameter is 11cm.

Solution:

Given that the diameter of the circle is 11cm.

The formula to find out the circumference of a circle is pi times diameter

Now substitute the value of r in the formula

= pi times diameter

=3.14 `*` 11

=34.54cm
