Introduction to online Calculus:
Calculus (Latin) is a branch in mathematics focused on limits, functions, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series. This subject constitutes a major part of modern mathematics education. It has two major branches, learn online differential calculus and learn integral calculus, which are related by the fundamental theorem of calculus. Calculus is the study of change, in the same way that geometry is the study of shape and algebra is the study of operations and their application to solving equations.

(i) plane geometry process
(ii) theory of real functions in differentiation
(iii) optimization problems
Derivative as a rate measure:
If a quantity y depends on and varies with a quantity x then the rate of change of y with respect to x is
`dy / dx`
A rate of change with respect to time is usually called as ‘the rate of change’, the ‘with respect to time’ being assumed.
Integral calculus 1 applications:
Integral calculus 1 is used to find the integration of the given quadratic equation.

Differentiate y = `x^3`
Solution:
y = `x^3`
`dy / dx` = 3x.
` dy / dx` = 3x.
Example 2:
Integrate `5x^3+2x^2`
Solution:
= `x^3+2x^2`
= `5(x^4 / 4) + 2(x^3/3)+c` (answer)
Example 3:
Differentiate` x ^ 4 + x ^ 2+ x + 4`
Solution:
The given equation is `x ^ 4 + x ^ 2+ x + 4`
Differentiate the equation with respect to x we get `4 x^3 + 2 x +1`

Answer: 2x+3
