Study Online Linear

Introduction :

Online Linear equation is incorporated form an algebraic equation, for example y = 5x + 8 or 5x + 6y – 2z = 4. The degree of the variable of the linear equation is 1. If the Online linear equation has two variable, that  online  linear equation will give  the straight line on the graph. online is one of the best tool to study a lot of things.

Procedure to study online linear equation:


Step 1:  If we want to solve the equation for x, we  have to move the x to on side of the equal sign, which  is similar to,    10x+10+50=300

Step 2:Do the 'reverse operations.' This means we would want to add -50.  So we will get 10x+10=250

Step 3: Now we have to add -10 on both sides of the equation. So we will get 10x=240

Step 4: Now we have to divide both sided by 10. That is 10x/10=240/10. Therefore, x=24

Understanding Quadratic Equation Formulas is always challenging for me but thanks to all math help websites to help me out.

Examples to study online linear problems:


Ex:1

x - 4 = 10

Add 4 to both sides of the equation:

x = 14

The answer is x = 14

Ex:2

2x - 1 = 10

Add 1 to both sides of the equation:

2x = 11

Divide both sides by 2:

X = 5.5

The answer is x = 5.5

Ex::

x+y=9

-x+2y=0

Substitution method for linear equation:

x+y=9   ---------------------- equation 1
-x+2y=0---------------------- equation 2

If we add the equations 1 and 2, we will get

3y=9

3y/3 = 9/3 ( both sides are divided by 3 )

y = 3

Substitute y = 3 in the equation 1, so we will get

x +  3 = 9

x+3-3=9-3 ( -3 is added on both sides)

x=6

Elimination method for linear equation:

x+y=9   ---------------------- equation 1
-x+2y=0---------------------- equation 2

Take the equation 1

x+y=9

x+y-y=9-y ( -y is added on the both sides )

x=9-y

Substitute x=9-y  in the equation 2, we will get

-(9-y ) +y=0

-9+y+2y=0

-9+3y=0

-9+9+3y=0+9

3y=9

3y/3=9/-3 ( both sides are divided by 3)

Y=3

Substitute y=3 in the equation 1

X+3=9

X+3-3=9-3 ( Add -3 on the both sides)

X=6
