Online Geometry Course

Introduction to online geometry course:
Geometry is a special branch of mat emetics to study about the Shapes and size. Geometry contains group of objects. It used to make the object according to our given original measurement. Geometry are classified into more types. Online geometry course mean nothing but we study the relationship between shapes and sizes of all two-dimensional and three dimensional objects with real time examples.

Having problem with What is a Congruent Angle keep reading my upcoming posts, i will try to help you.

Types of geometry:

Major kinds of geometry:

Riemann geometry(Elliptic geometry)
Analytic geometry
Algebraic Geometry
Differential geometry
Descriptive Geometry
Projective geometry
Non Euclidean Geometry

Basic concepts of online geometry course and formulas:

Basic concepts of online geometry course

Types of line and angles in geometric:

Lines:

Intersecting line: The two lines are crossed together
Perpendicular line: One line stands vertically on horizontal line
Parallel line: Two line stands opposite with vertically

Angles:

Acute angle
Right angle
Obtuse angle
Straight angle
Reflex angle
Shapes in online geometry course:

Two-dimensional object:

Square
Rectangle
Triangle
Circle
Parallelogram
Trapezoid
Three dimensional object:

Cone
Sphere
Cylinder
Hemisphere
prism
Standard formulas of online geometry course objects::

Two dimensional objects:

Square:

Perimeter of square= 2*side
Area of square= side*side
Rectangle:

Area of rectangle= Length x width
Perimeter of rectangle=2(Length +Width)
Triangle

Area of triangle=1/2(Base* height)
Perimeter of triangle=(sum of three sides)
Parallelogram

Area of parallelogram = length × breadth
Circle problems:

Area of circle = p r2 Where r is the radius.
Circumference of Triangle = 2 * p * r
Diameter=2*Radius
Three dimensional objects:

Volume of cylinder = p*R2*h
Volume of a right circular cone = 1/3  * p  * R3
Volume of a sphere  = 4/3 * p * R3
Volume of a hemisphere = 2/3 * p * R3

Is this topic Discriminant Formula hard for you? Watch out for my coming posts.

Example problem in online geometry course:

Square problem:

Example 1:

Find the area and perimeter of square whose side length is 34cm?

Solution:

Area of square    = (side*side)

=34*34

=1156cm2

Perimeter of square= 4* side

=4*34

=136

Rectangle problem:

Example 2:

Find the area of rectangle with length 90cm and width 3 cm

Solution:

Area of rectangle = Length x width

= 90*3

=180cm2

Triangle problem

Example 3:

Find perimeter of Triangle whose side lengths are 100cm, 25cm, and 75cm?

Solution:

Perimeter=Sum of three side lengths (a+b+c)

a=100, b=25, c=75

= 100+25+75

=200cm

Circle problem:

Find the area of  the circle whose radius is 15cm?

Solution:

Area= Pi *Radius*Radius

Pi=3.14

=3.14*15*15

=706.2cm2
