Mixed Numerals Fractions

Introduction :

Mixed numerals fractions is numbers can be the mixture of a whole and a part. Mixed numerals fractions are obtained by dividing the numerator by the denominator in an improper fraction to get the quotient and the remainder. Three types of fractions such as Improper fractions, proper fractions and mixed numerals fractions. Mixed fractions used to combine two or more fraction numbers. This article we are discussing about mixed numerals fractions. The mixed numerals fractions look like as,

                                                  Quotient    --------------

                                                                    Divisor

Examples Problem for Mixed Numerals Fractions:

Solve mixed fraction of given two mixed numerals fractions, [`6 8/4` ] + [`3 6/2` ], using addition method.

    Solution:

    Given mixed numerals fractions is,

    The problem here is to add [6 8/4] and [3 6/2]

    These two mixed numbers do not have the same denominators or lower numbers, so we must first find a common denominator of the two mixed numbers, earlier than adding them together. For the denominators here, the 4 and 2, a common denominator for both is 8.

    With the common denominator, the [6 8/4] becomes a [6 8/4] and the [3 6/2] becomes a [3 12/4]

    So now our addition problem becomes this,

    The problem here is to add [6 8/4] and [3 6/4]

                                                       = [`6 8/4` ] + [`3 6/4` ]

    The two mixed numbers having the same denominators.

    We can add them jointly by simply adding the numerators (the 8 and 6 = 14).

    It has the same denominator (the 4).

    And, we just add the number parts, or add the quotient 6 + 3 = 9.

                                                          = (6 + 3) (8+6)/ (4)

                                                          = [`9 14/4` ]

                                         Answer is: [`9 14/4` ].

One more Examples Problem for Mixed Numerals Fractions:

Solve mixed fraction of given two mixed numerals fractions, [`2 50/2` ] + [`6 25/1` ], using addition method.

    Solution:

    Given mixed numerals fractions is,

    The problem here is to add [2 50/2] and [6 25/1]
